How do I maintain my sheepskin red?
Of course you want to enjoy your Texel sheepskin for as long as possible. To ensure that the sheepskin retains its beautiful, soft appearance, you can regularly comb the coat with a wool comb. Any dirty spots on the coat can be dabbed clean with a damp cloth. Avoid the leather side, if the leather side gets wet then it dries hard. That is why we also advise not to wash the coat in the washing machine.

For a natural cleaning of the sheepskins you can use the snow when there is snow. Snow absorbs dirt and dissipates odors. Place the sheepskin with the hairs down on the snow, press it gently and let the coat soak in for half an hour. Then hang out the coat and let it dry slowly.
