PLASTO MFG. Co. Lamp Vintage 1950s Atomic Mid Century Modern.

This is one of those items after I test it and take photos and really look at it, I start to want to keep it. Now I have it on display in my 50s bathroom until it sells.

This lamp epitomizes Mid Century Modern. I thought about repainting it but decided to let the new owner either use it like it is or repaint it. I did an exhaustive google search for another Plasto lamp that looks like this one and couldn't find even one.

The colored ovals are painted light blue, gold and dark blue. The lamp works as it should. The plaster has some chips and scratches in it that are shown in the photos.

I imagine that it had a piece of felt glued to the bottom originally that is not there now. The metal lamp parts have surface rust on them.

It does not come with the shade or light bulb. I only put it on for the photos for you to imagine how good it looks.

It is 28" tall with the halo, 19" tall from the base to the top of the plaster body and 6" wide at the base.

If my shops estimate for shipping is off considerably I will give a partial refund on it since I am not in it to make money off the shipping.

Items can be shipped to a POB only if we use the USPS. The price for something heavy and oversized can be staggering. Since we want to give you the best service for a reasonable cost, we ship FedEx when rates are more agreeable. This, in the long run, will save you money on shipping costs. The best practice is to provide us with a physical address to avoid any extra costs.

We are not able to offer INternational shipping at this time due to mailing issues. We are sorry if this causes any inconvenience. Possibly have someone in the US buy it and then send it to you?
