This is a linocut print, completely handmade from start to finish, NOT a reproduction. The image has been shops designed, carved and cut, inked and printed by me. These prints were all lovingly printed using the burnishing method with a humble wooden spoon. It is quite a laborious process, but one undertaken with much love, and I hope you will appreciate that as such, each print is slightly different, and may not appear exactly the same as in the pictures.
Varied edition, (which means available in different colours).
Total edition number of 40 prints: 10 each in black, red, Indian red and greyblue, which is more like a duck-egg colour in real life. All are numbered, titled and signed in the traditional manner in pencil, on the front below the image.
Printed with professional oil based inks on BFK Rives Printmaking paper, renowned for its quality among printmakers the world over.
Measurements:
Without mount, approx 28 x 37.5 cms.
The unmounted print will be sent with tissue paper and rolled in a tube.
