Antique Vapo-Cresolene Vaporizer with original box and directions. What a fun find. Their tag line was "Used while you sleep." Marketed to help with Whooping cough, Catarrh, Spasmodic croup and Asthma. The box shows lots of age and wear including staining on the outside and the inside. There is rubbing and chipping at the edges and corners. The directions are wrinkled, creased and have staining. The device shows some patina to the metal and shops some staining. The white glass center has been taped on. Such an interesting piece of early medical history. (of course this is sold as a decorative object and not a cure for any thing and should not be used as anything more than a historic display piece)
